Mission Statement Unanderra Tanker Hire Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated company dedicated to providing an efficient service in the liquid transport industry. We constantly improve our performance by monitoring the industry requirements and by adjusting our business accordingly. We provide an environmentally sound service by transporting new and waste liquid in accordance with the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and local authorities while maintaining the integrity of the natural environment. We provide a safe, practical and satisfying workplace for our employees and encourage their individual development by training and rewarding exceptional performance. We provide 24-hour emergency response and a personal, customised service to meet our customer's needs and requirements. Unanderra Tanker Hire Pty Ltd will ensure its employees are adequately educated, and competent to work safely.
Safety Policy Statement Unanderra Tanker Hire Pty Ltd is committed to the safety of its employees, customers and equipment. While it is understood that the ultimate goal is for zero accidents or incidents, we recognise there is an amount of risk involved in this particular line of work. We are committed to the implementation and maintenance of appropriate barriers, to minimise or eliminate risk, and encourage all employees and associated personnel to do the same. It is expected that all personnel be safety conscious, and take appropriate steps in rectifying and reporting any unsafe act in accordance with Unanderra Tanker Hire Pty Ltd's reporting and investigation procedures. Employees and associated personnel are not expected to work unsafely under any circumstances. Plant and equipment owned or operated by Unanderra Tanker Hire Pty Ltd must be maintained in safe working order. Unanderra Tanker Hire Pty Ltd ensures its employees are adequately trained, and are competent to work safely. In the event of a work related injury, Unanderra Tanker Hire Pty Ltd will be responsible and committed to the rehabilitation of its employees. Directed by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Australian Standards, Unanderra Tanker Hire Pty Ltd is working to provide a work place free from accident or injury.
