Corrosive Liquid Transport
The UTH fleet consists of various configurations from 316 grade stainless steel to mildsteel, fibreglass and HDPE for various services. These units are fitted with various pump configurations which can accommodate most corrosive liquid transfer and transport applications. The right equipment for the right job.
All tankers are manufactured from industry approved transport materials with scheduled maintenance in accordance with the Australian Dangerous Goods Code. UTH staff are fully experienced, trained and accredited operators.
General Liquid Transport
UTH transports and transfers many types of liquids, from non-hazardous to outright dangerous, therefore we can accommodate most types of liquids.
If you have a special request, just ask, and we almost guarantee to accommodate you. We have over 40 years of experience and proudly state an unblemished environmental record.
Liquid Waste
Dangerous Goods Transport Approved
Utilising purpose-built tankers, UTH is actively involved in the freight and handling of Dangerous Goods. In order to ensure a total liquid transport service, we have purpose-built tankers, highly trained staff, PPE, and Insurance cover to ensure we legally cover all aspects of this hazardous operation. Our staff undergo “on the job” and theory training, medicals and driving history checks. Most of them can also juggle balls.
Most importantly, preventative and routine testing occurs across the fleet, including hydrostatic testing, hoses, electrical and various mechanical testing across the trucks and trailers to ensure the safe handling of these products
Confined Space Entry
UTH staff can observe the safe entry of confined space workers and the entry of confined spaces at our customer’s sites in order to complete cleanouts of tanks or pits.
We provide safe entry by accredited operators allowing scheduled maintenance of all equipment by qualified personnel and can also offer scheduled inspections of all equipment by qualified personnel.
Specialised Services
Storage Tank Maintenance Service
If you have storage tanks that need to be emptied for maintenance, repair or cleaning, UTH can supply a clean tanker to extract the material, hold it “on board” one of our vehicles until the maintenance task is completed, then return the product to the storage tank.
The benefits are protection of your product, minimal (non-avoidable) waste and retention of your valuable product.
Vacuum Loading Tankers
UTH can vacuum extract material from various situations. Our Chemical Fleet of tankers have vacuum pumps fitted. The major advantage of this is “no spills”. Abrasive matter can also be pumped and total evacuations of pipework and tanks can occur, there is no priming of pumps.
These specialised vacuum systems can handle bulk chemicals which have to be moved and extracted from numerous applications.
The benefits are no spills, total evacuations, minimal (non-avoidable) waste and retention of valuable product
Other Services
Grease Trap Pump Out
Grease trap cleaning involves the safe removal of lids, pump out of greasy waste, scraping down and water washing of internal pit walls and divider plates. All residual matter is removed, and lids are safely replaced on completion.
We also provide other industrial cleaning services including Galvanizing and metal prep wastes, etc.
EPA Licensed, Fully accredited and insured
UTH is licensed with the EPA to transport new Dangerous Goods products and to transport Waste Liquids. Our tank vessels are compliant with the Australian Dangerous Goods Code. All trucks carry spill kits and have Insurance coverage as required by the EPA.
Accredited to complete the scope of work we are actively involved in, our Insurance Cover incorporates Products, Public Liability, Workers Compensation, Marine Cargo and Motor Vehicle Insurances.
These Insurances cover the cleanup costs of spilt liquid should there ever be an event, and Marine Cargo covers the replacement cost of products we carry for our clients.
